How I Got Here

Well...I grew up in Baltimore, MD with my parents and two siblings. Yes, I'm the middle child! Yes, I love crabs.

At an early age, I was labeled as shy, but I like to say I was more reserved and observant than shy. I absorbed the environment around me through listening intently and people watching; something that has come in handy on my career path. I took the leap from playing in my middle school pit band to performing on stage. From that point until now, theatre has been a constant in my life and I couldn't be more grateful.

When not on stage, I serve on the executive leadership team of Baltimore-based theatre company ArtsCentric. Producing art that impacts not only the artists involved, but also the lives of those in the community it serves and audiences alike, has been an honor since 2012. It's a legacy of which I'm honored to be a part. When the world slowed down in 2020, I rediscovered my love of writing. What came of that was my first self-published children's book.

On those rare occasions of downtime, I treat myself to that which brings me joy: listening to jazz w/ an ice cold glass of strawberry lemonade, reading a good suspense novel, putting together a mosaic puzzle, writing, hanging with family or just laughing on the phone with a friend(s).

After "pounding the pavement" for many years and "paying my dues" I'm proud to say I am a member of the Actors' Equity Association (AEA)!
